A Quick Overview

This three-day gorilla experience takes you to Rwanda’s Parc National des Volcanoes (PNV), which is home to approximately 300 mountain gorillas. You can go gorilla tracking, climb the Visoke volcano, go golden monkey tracking, or visit the Karisoke Research Centre, which Dian Fossey, the famous primatologist, founded, or visit local villages.

Itinerary for each day;

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali-Volcanoes National Park

Our safari driver-guide will meet you at Kigali International Airport. Drive three hours north of Kigali from Ruhengeri to Kinigi. Enjoy the rolling hills that Rwanda is famous for after a three-hour drive.

Day 2: Parc Volcanoes Gorilla Trekking

After breakfast, you will depart for the Park’s headquarters, where your driver-guide will complete the requisite formalities on your behalf. After meeting your ranger guide(s), you will enter the forest to begin your day’s activities. After the trek, there will be lunch and a transfer back to Kigali. After the walk, you can make a few stops to enjoy the scenery on your way back to the cabin. Rwanda is the land of over a thousand hills!

Day 3: Volcanoes National Park-Kigali

Return to Kigali and, if time allows, take a city tour that includes a Genocide memorial site and shopping for African art and craft. With a stop for lunch en route, and then move to the airport for your return flight. End of Services, Half-Board Meal Plan

    Best time to visit Uganda

    Uganda is open all-year-long, the best wildlife viewing months in Uganda are during the Dry season from late June to October.

    The most commonly asked Ugandan questions! The solution is straightforward! You are welcome to visit Uganda at any time of the year! It’s a hot and humid atmosphere here.

    The cost of a safari, which is normally higher during peak season, maybe the difference. We offer discounts in May and April, and if you are traveling in groups, we offer a $150 discount on a Uganda safari gorilla permit.

    June to October –Dry Season. Wildlife is easier to spot.

    November to May –Wet Season

    The scenery is beautiful and green Rates drop because it’s the low season.
